MORNING MEDITATIONS FOR AQUARIUS

Upon waking, the sacred geometry of the sun distills through our subjectivities creating new shapes that reflect the day and the world inside us. The artist is not exactly a true mirror, but more like a mirrored surface, where the contours of the heart are seen as an overall form, and the world around is overlaid and bent to it. Some days, the sky is darker than others, and on these days the light inside us can shine brighter to make up the difference. Let’s all take a quiet three minutes for ourselves each morning and clear the mind to make it ready and strong. The first minute is for the past, the second for the present, and the third for the future. Of course, every moment of this trinity slips from the present to the past, and every moment of the present anticipates the next of the future. So, there is a continuum and a blending of time. Match this blending with your breathe. Let the inhale and the exhale represent the coming and going of the moments, let the pause in between the two represent the moments between moments.

The works of this online exhibition are sites for meditation and quietude. Each day is different, and together they’ll map the sign of Aquarius. Jan 21- Feb 19, 2022. 30 days, 30 artworks.
